The Biology Program offers the following degrees:
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology — the undergraduate degree accommodates a wide variety of student interests and career goals. Students may take Biology Core Requirements that prepare them to continue in one of eight Biology Career Tracks:

Other students combine science and education courses for a
concentration in Life Science Education
(Grades 8-12). Also, undergraduate students majoring in other disciplines
can earn a Minor
in Biology.
- Master of Science (M.S.) in Biology — the graduate degree involves course work and research. Master of Science students can choose to follow a Thesis Plan or a Non-Thesis Plan. Various stipends, assistantships, scholarships and other sources of funding are available to graduate students.
